Where do I start?
I bought this after I discovered it on Amazon, I had no idea that James and his team had written a Christmas story.
I wanted to get this book as I knew I'd love it & it would also be an early Christmas present to myself to read over the festive season.
I loved this book & it's fair to say I had no doubt about that.
The story is about James and how he reflects back onto the years before he met Bob, he dreaded Christmas every year whilst living rough and being an addict.
It was a very quick and easy read, it kept me on my toes and I never got bored or sick of the chapters.
What I loved the most about this book is that you
can see just how much James has changed his life around from the moment that he discovered Bob.
James is grateful for the littlest of things and isn't so bothered about fancy gifts or expensive gadgets at Christmas, he has grattitude for the joy and happiness that Bob had brought him & his thoughts show very clearly throughout the story.
I am a huge fan of James and Bob and I think their story is wonderful.
This book had a moral - Christmas shouldn't be about the giving and gifts, it should be about finding happiness and being grateful for what you have.
I will definitely pick up the sequel to the first book 'the world according to Bob' as I loved the original story and also this one too!
