But when he put her down, it was like being deposited on a bed of nails, and she cried out.
'Be still,' he said. 'You're going to be all right.' Although she was so hot, her teeth were chattering, and that was funny. She tried to tell him so, but he was holding a glass to her lips, ordering her to drink.
