Red-Tape and Pigeon-Hole Generals is a collection of sketches written by William Armstrong in 1862 which was the time when the whole country was involved in the Civil War. Armstrong's stories had an aim to courage the soldiers who fought in it to be loyal and determined and struggle till the very end.
