The Mark of Athena was an extremely well written book. It took me forever to get my hands on it, but it got me so sucked in I was reading it walking everywhere. The characters became a lot more developed, especially Annabeth and Hazel. I think Frank's character could have been worked on a little more though, and Coach Hedge seems like he could have been amazing if he wasn't so static. It builds suspense and holds it and just when you think everything is going well, he throws the her...oes into hell, literally. It is an absolutely amazing book, and I can't wait to finish the series!

I really liked this book and I've read the series a while ago with my dad all the time. Since it's been a while since I last read it, I forgot a little bit of what went on in books before this one. This book is a very long book which means it may have not been the perfect choice for a doing a book report. One of the things I've always liked about this series is that they like to combine the mythology with real life things. Yep. That's really weird right? Well anyway I have a review. THe book was really nice and captivating, but all that romance stuff was really boring. Maybe if there was less romance this would be the best book.
