This is the narrative of a young person named Thomas who discovers himself sent to an obscure area where he joins a gathering of castaway young men caught in an apparently unsolvable labyrinth. As Thomas takes in the ropes about existence in their sheltered have, known as the Glade, and the dangers that live inside of the labyrinth he understands he was sent there for a reason – to be one of the runners whose employment is to split the labyrinths secret and lead the Gladers to their opportunity.

...

The primary book in James Dashner's series The Maze Runner must be a standout amongst the most thrilling and unpleasant books in the YA segment.
From the earliest starting point when Thomas awakens in the container with no memory of who he is past his name and is maneuvered into the Glade I was charmed. The way that the hero was presented in a manner that you already knew he was in threat however didn't know why or what from was charming. Moreover he's brought into an absolutely outside scene and is welcomed by what forms into an incredible cast of supporting characters. The primary Gladers (to be specific Alby, Newt, Minho, Chuck, Gally and Frypan,) were given such unmistakable and lively portrayal in spite of the extent of their parts. Thomas is truly interesting as the lead character. In spite of the absence of a memory he appears to be so finished and reserved. You know just from the way he responds to the labyrinth and the whole circumstance in the first place that he'll in the long run be the pioneer, and you sort of can hardly wait for that to happen.
At the point when things begin to turn sour – the entryways not shutting, the lights no more reproducing day and night – the danger from the grievers turning out to be so increased I really wanted to discover it delectably perverted that they would be modified to take one Glader consistently until nobody's cleared out. The risk of death and the need to escape got to be substantial. You could taste their trepidation when reading the first book in the astonishing series.

It’s about a man who’s wife divorced him because he was attracted to kid and then he dies and his ghost if so hungry for love that he does the dirty with kids in their sleep and once he is done he eats his cat for breakfast because he wanted to. In conclusion this book sucks because they didn’t include Fortnite characters and Fortnite feet so 9/10

This is my second time reading the book and it is amazing. The more books you read in the series the scarier it gets, but it just draws me in and I just ended up reading all of the books except for the last two since there are 6 books.

Great and entertaining. In my opinion, the books get better as you continue the series. So, this book sets up the characters, just get through it and the other books are incredible. This book is pretty good, but I assure you, the other books just get soooooooo good. Read if you like dystopias...

This book is good. I think it is just like the movie. My favorite part is when the girl comes up the elevator thing and the guys are all surprised because they haven't seen a girl since they got took away from their families. I recommend that you guys read this book and see the movie because they are both very good. In conclusion I think that this book should be read by a lot of people that want to learn what these guys experienced by living with a whole bunch of people they don't know then at the end they a tend up as a big happy family

I read this one early in the year, when it was hot and I was all over the place and looking for a way to escape. I really just wanted to read the book before I watched the film (yay Dylan O'Brien!), so I zipped through it, but I can see why it's become so popular. Cracking storyline, a good mystery, a protagonist that you root for from the beginning, and just enough mystery to pique your interest and keep you reading - no more. As with Northern Lights, I haven't felt any great pull to read the next book in the trilogy, but I am very much looking forward to The Scorch Trials movie

Love this book. Do NOT read the end if you cry easily. It will tear your heart out and run it over with a truck.

I like the author. The book is pretty decent, only because there are SOO many dystopian book series that have the same plot logic as this one. Its not bad. It's just kind of boring. I recommend reading the scorch Trials, The Death Cure, and the Kill Order after this only because it explains the details more. And I like the movies that's why. So whoever hates this book can die in a ditch. You haters need to read more books and get your brain to function and at least explain why you hate it in a formal way besides "Oh Thomas is running in a maze sooo dumb". If you had finished the book, you'd know that there is MORE than just some "Stupid" maze.

thanks!
