I finished this book about a month or so ago and I have to say that it is one of the few books I've finished and I am glad I did. Will Grayson, Will Grayson is such an amazing book and I could not take my eyes off of it. The straight Will Grayson, let's call him OWG, he has this saying "Shut up and don't care", luckily by the end of the book *Spoiler Alert*, he learns that this may not be the best way to handle life. The gay Will Grayson is more on the "I don't care" side, he's pretty much carel
...ess about much stuff, up to a point where he introduces himself by saying that he wants to kill himself. Luckily, by the end of the book, he finds someone who helps him realize and appreciate the beauty of life, in this case *Spoiler Alert*, the OWD best friend. The whole idea of both Will Grayson's meeting up out of nowhere is totally crazy, and the amount of drama that goes on that same day.
A lesson that both Will Grayson's would have learned would be to appreciate life and take risks before all of that is gone or lost. OWD throughout the book learned how to take more risks by dating Jane. The gay Will Grayson learned how to care more about things and not decide to give up so easily. The last chapter, the gay Will Grayson says "but the truth? everybody has it. that's our curse and our blessing. that's our trial and our error and our it". This quote was so powerful and summed up the whole book, Will Grayson ends up explaining that accepting the truth and how life is may be hard but it is the best thing to do.
This book is filled with words of the wise, so make sure to enjoy the book!
